Description
The mirror embodies historical patterns from the very earliest beginnings of our nation’s history. Each one of my beveled mirrors is handcrafted and therefore no two are alike.
I book matched the wood for the filigree on the top and bottom resulting in a mirror image of the grain.
The pattern for the Cherry mirror is from c.1800, and has an overall dimension of 15 1/4" wide x 25 5/8" long and is approximately 2” deep.
The pattern for the Lacewood mirror is from c.1820 and has an overall dimension of 13 3/11" wide x 20 11/16" long and is approximately 1” deep.
All of my mirrors are handcrafted works of art constructed of a renewable resource, solid wood – both domestic and exotic - no veneers - and all have a rich, hand rubbed lacquer finish.
